Notes

1. This Chapter does not cover railway or tramway rolling stock designed to run solely on rails.

2. For the purposes of this Chapter, “tractor” means a vehicle designed primarily for pulling or pushing another vehicle, appliance or load, whether or not containing auxiliary provision for the transport of tools, seeds, fertilizers or other goods, in accordance with the principal use of the tractor.

Machines and working tools designed to be fitted to tractors of heading 87.01 which are interchangeable (removable) remain classified in their respective headings even if they are presented with the tractor, and whether or not mounted on it.

3. Chassis with engine fitted with cab is classified in headings 87.02 to 87.04, and not in heading 87.06.

4. Heading 87.12 covers all children's bicycles of all kinds. Other children's bicycles are classified in heading 95.03.

1. Subheading 8708.22 covers:
